Robert Clarizio - Dawcom Deployment PM

Robert began work in the telecommunications field in the late 1980's, beginning with field installations and supervision. This experience began here in the US, with the first fiber optic installations along Interstate 80 between Chicago, IL, and Toledo, OH, as well as other states such as California, Colorado, etc.

In 1998-99, Robert worked in Taiwan in support of an Alcatel-Lucent microwave/fiber project for the Taiwan military. This project required training of military personnel, directly supervising the installation of over 1,100KM of fiber cable thru crowded cities, splicing, testing , and documenting the completed system. This was ALL accomplished both on time, and in budget - with NO acceptance issues from the end customer. He has also worked in direct support of US forces in Iraq, working not only in the Green Zone in downtown Baghdad, but also on Victory Base, just outside of Baghdad, and various other US military sites. On Victory base he directed the installation of a fiber cable system, and personally completed all fiber splicing, testing, and system documentation.

Since that time he has taught fiber certification courses, and worked various large-scale telecommunications projects for companies such as Alcatel-Lucent, AT&T, and various other carriers. His current taskings involve Deployment Project Management work for a variety of telecommunications projects. These projects range from Site Surveys, to Installations and System Maintenance for large metropolis communications networks.

Dennis Foster - Dawcom QC Manager

Dennis has 40+ years of experience in the telecom industry. After graduating from United Electronics Institute in 1973 he began his career in the telecommunications field working for Collins Radio/Rockwell International in Richardson TX. Dennis worked in the factory performing unit and system tests, and producing microwave radios and associated systems, for 5 years. He moved to field work when an opportunity arose to leave the factory as a field service engineer, working on a large scale project in Saudi Arabia. This work entailed turn-up, hop, and end-to-end system testing on a 600+ site microwave system. That project lasted several years thru both phase one and phase two. In between phase one and two, Dennis also worked microwave projects in Taiwan and Qatar, completing installation, turn-up and testing on both successfully. After working abroad for 10 years, Dennis continued his field work for Rockwell International in the USA as a Senior FSE. Dennis then moved on to system testing fiber-optic telecom projects for MCI for 6 years, also as a Senior FSE. As a result of an industry downturn, Dennis re-entered microwave telecom field testing for 6 more years, doing installation, turn-up, test, and documentation of microwave systems. This work included turn-up of new systems, and upgrades and modifications to existing systems. Dennis joined Dawcom in 2011 doing field installation, testing, and documenting microwave systems. In 2014 He assumed the tasks of company quality control manager - to include processing and delivery of project close-out documentation.
